We went hands-on with Dell CloudIQ to see how well it worked for managing data center assets. We found it indeed let IT admins monitor corporate environments from the cloud. Dell CloudIQ effectively received data from on-prem collectors and displayed them in the cloud console—and did so without using too many resources. We know, because we also tested for network congestion issues and found low network bandwidth consumption.
