The past few years have brought a huge increase in the number of people working remotely. To keep up with that growth and ensure that remote employees have the technology they need to do their jobs, businesses need to be able to configure, deploy, and manage ready-to-work devices quickly and easily. We tested three endpoint management solutions using Intel vPro platform-based devices to see how the solutions fared.
We conducted hands-on testing for onboarding, hardware-based power management, and keyboard, video, and mouse (KVM) connectivity on the following solutions: VMware Workspace ONE with an Intel EMA integration, Microsoft Intune with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM), and MECM by itself. Workspace ONE with integration simplified device deployment and management with fewer steps, so it could save IT administrators’ valuable time.
